Creative ways ….
…To keep warm when the furnace is broken. Obviously there’s the whole..add a zillion more layers. not too creative. Use a TON of blankets, nope not too creative either. I’ve started the laundry, in hopes that once i get the dryer going, some heat will trickle outward. I’m also going to open up my dad’s office door, to let the radiant heat from all the computers (yes plural) and printers (again yeah more than one) out.
The temp here in the house is 62. yesterday it was 67. I was fine yesterday. a tad cold, but tolerable. HOWEVER, 62 isn’t acceptable to me.
Baking is what i’m going to be doing today to help heat the house. I’m going to make some Lemon Bars from close to scratch, and maybe even some cookies as well. I’ll share the recipe for the Lemon Bars. I’d say it’s moderate in difficulty, but easy enough to follow. It’s also pretty low-cal! which i’m psyched about. This recipe takes close to 3 hours.
I’m also gonna cook a hot lunch. A favorite.. Grilled Cheese and Tomato soup!
